I have always had a big heart for health and fitness, starting in high school as I found joy in being active in tennis and even home workouts in my parent’s basement.
My undergrad studies in dietetics at UW-Stout helped set a foundation in nutrition and counseling. Food is such a big part of our lives and an important component to the health equation. I love helping others navigate better choices in a way that fits their lifestyle.
Quickly after graduation, I couldn’t ignore another big part of the health equation: exercise.
My passion for fitness has grown and evolved as life circumstances have shown me how big of an impact fitness can have as a wife, mom, church volunteer, and employee. I want to be ready and willing to do whatever it is that God calls me to do without limitations.
I became certified as a personal trainer, adding educational training specific to postpartum women, the geriatric population, and corrective exercise so that those I help can live with less pain and do whatever brings them joy for as many years as they are given!
I’ve watched strength training improve issues like pelvic floor dysfunction, stubborn back pain, increase stamina, and reverse muscle loss from injury. I’m convinced getting stronger is the magic pill we have all been searching for!
I am the mom to 3 of the best kids around, and a wife to my very best friend. Marrying him was the best decision of my life. He’s the anchor to our family when the ride gets rough.
We are born and raised Minnesotans, and have a little slice of the Minnesota lake life with a cabin up north on Little Bass Lake. My kids love fishing, breathing in that crisp lake air, playing with sticks instead of screens, and listening to the loons in the morning.
In our spare time we enjoy laughing together snuggled up on the couch, playing card games around the dining table, and dreaming up big goals for the future.
