Switching Your Morning Coffee Routine

September 13, 2019

Americans are drinking more coffee than ever! The National Coffee Association produced a study in 2018 that found 64% of us drink coffee. WHAT? Only 64%? It seems to me that all of my friends and family drink coffee in the morning, and it they don’t, watch out!

Without that burst of caffeine to get us going in the morning, a lot of us are just plain crabby! What other benefits are there to the regular cup of Joe? I have done a lot of investigating to see if I could find any conclusive evidence that coffee is actually good for us. Interestingly enough, coffee used to be listed on the carcinogen list (a list of things that gave us cancer), but was taken off because there was no real scientific evidence of this. There is also no real scientific evidence of anything good for you in coffee. The overwhelming conclusion is that it is OK to drink regular coffee, but due to the levels of caffeine and toxins used in the processing of some coffees, you should drink it in moderation.

So let me introduce amazing ORGANO! This is coffee infused with Ganoderma. This coffee IS GOOD FOR US – and best of all, we can drink as much as we want!

Ganoderma is a beautiful, bright red, woody mushroom that is found in Asia. It contains over 400 nutrients that help promote health! Ganoderma works at the cellular level to help support your body’s own immune system cells. Ganoderma is also full of antioxidants. A glass of Orange juice has about 14 antioxidants in it, but a cup of Organo coffee infused with Ganoderma has over 100!

This mushroom is so amazing, that it used to be reserved for Chinese Royalty. They did not think the powerful healing powers it held were worthy of common people. Thankfully, this is no longer the case, and you can get it at Opp Family Chiropractic! It addition to increasing your immune system and supplying you large amounts of antioxidants, there are many more benefits of this herb that are worth changing your coffee for.

As a massage therapist, the benefits I always think of the most are listed below.

MUSCLE RELAXANT
Ganoderma has been widely used for its pain and muscle relaxing properties. It is a great natural option for chronic disease.

INFLAMMATION
Ganoderma extract reduces inflammation which can be important for many different reasons. It helps to reduce the swelling associated with rheumatoid arthritis. Ganoderma is also effective for stiff neck and arms.

DETOXIFY YOUR BODY
Ganoderma promotes a healthier gut and faster detoxification of excess drugs and junk food from the body.

PROMOTE SLEEP
Regular use of Ganoderma can promote a slow, easy wave of sleep.

MENTAL HEALTH
Ganoderma can help provide a natural calming effect. It has recently been studied with patients suffering from Alzheimer’s and has shown great benefits!

STRESS AND ANXIETY
Ganoderma has been prescribed for centuries to people suffering from stress and anxiety. It can effectively reduce emotional outbursts during chronic stress and depression. Ancient Chinese monks used reishi mushroom (Ganoderma) to calm their minds for meditation.

There are so many other benefits that Dr. Brian, Dr. Sophie and I would love to share with you! Please ask us about Organo anytime!
