Lymph Flow and Massage

May 30, 2019

Are you suffering from allergies?

Are you experiencing fatigue, swelling, itching, sore throat or muscle stiffness?

A massage can benefit you!

The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that run throughout the body and is a big part of your immune system. This system plays a vital role in ridding our bodies of toxins and keeping them healthy. Lymphatic massage encourages the movement of lymph fluids throughout the body. By gently helping waste, toxins, and fluids along their way through your body, you will have a healthier functioning lymphatic and immune system. This will help ward off the miserable side effects of allergies, shorten a cold that already exists, or even prevent one from starting. Adding regular lymphatic massage when you normally experience seasonal allergies will greatly reduce your allergy symptoms. Keeping your lymph nodes drained of these allergens and sweeping them out of your bodies as fast as you can, will help enormously.

Additional help for allergies:

Relaxation Massage – Stress can aggravate allergies. By having a regular massage during allergy season, you can decrease stress levels, therefore decreasing your allergy symptoms.

Dry Brushing – The skin is your largest organ and is essential in removing toxins from the body. Dry brushing is done by exfoliating your skin with a specialized firm brush. This allows your pores to be free of dead skin and debris, thus allowing it to release toxins more easily.

The following can all be symptoms that your lymphatic system is not running smoothly. If you are experiencing any of these, call us to schedule your lymphatic massage so that we can help sweep the toxins out of your body!

• Frequent cold and flu infections

• Joint Pain

• Arthritis

• Skin breakouts

• Worsened allergies and food sensitivities

• Fibromyalgia

• Fatigue

• Swelling

• Depression

• Sore throat

• Itching
