I grew up in a health-conscious home where going to a chiropractor and naturally taking care of oneself was my normal. It wasn’t until I got to college that I realized how many people were missing out on all the things that this lifestyle had to offer. Ever since then, I have wanted to help people in whichever way I could to realize the immense benefits that intentional healthy living has on your life.
Everything in life is centered around our body – from how we feel, to our daily mood, to what activities we can or cannot participate in – so it only makes sense to treat our body wisely. I am very passionate about a healthy lifestyle because of the profound effects I have seen from it in my own life and those around me.
While I attended the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, I studied abroad in Sydney, Australia and ended up staying there for almost three years. While I was there, I received my BA Degree in Dance. After I came back to Minnesota, I finished my AA Degree at the University of Northwestern with an emphasis on the arts. I completed my education through the National Academy of Sports Medicine to become a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist.
In addition to working as a personal trainer, training the general public and athletes of different types, I have been a competitive dance teacher for many years training dancers of all ages. Most recently, I have studied CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute International and have certifications in Reflexive Performance Reset and Rehab to Fitness.
