To move well, you need to know how to move correctly. We use a method of posture correction; Graston Technique is used for the mobilization of the tissues. Stretching, corrective and traditional exercises are to help balance out your treatment. We find that adding these techniques to our patients’ treatment plan helps them function through life better.
Our office uses functional screening and Applied Kinesiology Manual Muscle Testing to learn the ways in which a patient can and can’t move. Can they squat with good form? Can they do a push-up, hold a plank, do a bridge exercise, and bend at the hips in a healthy way? These tests help shape your program and give us a way to track your progress. Exercise Rehabilitation allows patients to take a more active role in their treatment. Our most successful patients follow our treatment plan recommendations and do their active care.
